PHOTOS: SMATO Takes Charge, Resurrects Oko Water Supply Project Abandoned Several Years

In a resolute move towards community development and progress, Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola, the esteemed representative of Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, has taken the boldly step in completing the long-abandoned Oko Water Supply project.

The monumental initiative, initially undertaken by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources of Ogun-Osun Rivers Basin Development Authority, had suffered setback as a result of negligence of previous administrations.

A statement made available to newsmen on Monday by SMATO media bureau, indicated that under the visionary leadership of Hon. Ojo Makanjuola, this project has been reignited with vigour and purpose.

According to the statement, with strong determination, Hon. Smato has mobilized resources and engaged the project’s contractors to ensure its swift completion.

“Today, alongside key stakeholders such as Hon. Banji Folaranmi and Hon. Ogundiran Israel, Hon. Smato visited the project site, marking the commencement of a new era of progress for the Oko community.

“Through his proactive and decisive actions, he has demonstrated his commitment to fulfilling his mandate of serving the people. By prioritizing the completion of this vital infrastructure project, he is paving the way for improved living conditions and enhanced access to essential services for his constituents.

“The impending completion of the Oko Water Supply project stands as a testament to Hon. Makanjuola’s effective leadership and dedication to the welfare of the community. As the project nears fruition, it is poised to bring lasting benefits to the people of Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, underscoring Hon. Makanjuola’s resolute resolve to drive positive.”
