An indigenous Group, Igbimo Apapo Yoruba Lagbaye Yoruba Council Worldwide has honored Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo (RAD), who is one of the active female aides to Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde, with the prestigious title of the Yeye Atunluse Oodua Agbaiye.

The award ceremony, marking the 6th Edition of the Grand Finale for World Omoluabi Day, took place at the Palace of the Ooni of Ife, Ile-Ife, on Sunday.

Hon. Ramata was recognized alongside other notable personalities in Oyo state including a close ally of Governor Makinde, Chief Benedict Akika and Chief Ezekiel Otope, for their immense contributions to community development, broadcasting, entertainment, good governance, youth, and sports.

A letter of invitation extended to Hon. Ramata and obtained by MOUTHPIECE NGR on Tuesday, read, “Ma, in due recognition of Your Most Distinguished untainted Omoluabi Integrity and Character, epitome of hardwork, resilience, wisdom and excellent landmark achievements, we are pleased to honour Your Majesty as recipient of the prestigious Omoluabi Royal Icon (ORI) Award as Yeye ATAIYESE Omoluabi Oodua Agbaye”

Our correspondent gathered that the 6th edition of the Annual World Omoluabi Festival, being the biggest epoch making Festival in Yoruba land, conspicuously aimed at cross fertilizing ideas on various issues of mutual importance and national interests focused on promoting the Omoluabi identity, ethos, cultural heritage, norms, and as well as propagating Nigeria and Africa’s unity, peace, equitable justice and national development.

The festival is essentially meant to capture all genuine agitations, culture, education, healthcare, infrastructural development, socio-economic growth and peacefully consolidate a common Yoruba Harmonized vision , as well as build a robust Nigeria’s interests together.

Receiving the award, Hon. Ramata Dabo, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, said she was overwhelmed by the recognition and support shown towards her service, stating that all dedication is accorded to His Excellency Gov. Seyi Makinde for making governance easy and accommodating.

She said: “I am really grateful for receiving the prestigious award of Yeye Atunluse Oodua Agbaiye by the Igbimo Apapo Yoruba Lagbaye Yoruba Council Worldwide.

“My dedication and contributions are truly commendable, and my impact resonates with the spirit of our community.

“Therefore, I dedicate this award to His Excellency Gov. Seyi Makinde for giving me the opportunity to serve and making governance easy and accommodating.”
