LG Polls: SMATO congratulates PDP chairmanship candidates in Ogooluwa, Surulere LGs

The lawmaker representing Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola Smato has congratulated the two chairmanship candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogooluwa and Surulere local government areas. Hon. Ojo Oluwaseun and Hon. Adegbite Isaiah, respectively, on their election victory.

In a congratulatory message personally issued and made available to journalists on Sunday, the lawmaker described their remarkable success as the will of the Almighty God.

He emphasised that it is a source of great satisfaction that the candidates’ sacrifices during the campaign, which included intense campaigning, sensitization efforts, and ward-toward and community visits, have paid off for the party.

Smato praised the state’s voters for turning out in large numbers to support PDP candidates on Saturday, demonstrating their appreciation for the wonderful work that Governor Makinde has been doing.

He said: “A hearty congratulations to Hon. Ojo Oluwaseun of Ogooluwa and Hon. Adegbite Isaiah of Surulere for their well-deserved victory in the Local Government elections.

“Your overwhelming victory is a testament to the trust and confidence the people of Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency have in your leadership abilities.

“I also appreciate the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde in ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process.
