Oke Legacy receives FOGSU leadership, encourages responsible use of donated bus

The PDP Chieftain and Director, Best Legacy Group of Schools, Hon. John Adisa Oke Legacy has played host to receive the leadership of the Federation of Ogbomoso Students Union (FOGSU).

The delegation, led by Fajimi Ebenezer, visited to express gratitude and present the bus gift generously donated by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

While receiving them, Hon. Oke commended the initiative of Governor Makinde in supporting the educational endeavors of the student community in Ogbomoso and Oyo state by extension. He emphasized the significance of such contributions in enhancing the welfare and opportunities available to the youth.

During the interaction, Hon. Oke urged the FOGSU leadership to ensure the prudent utilization of the donated bus for the benefit of the student body. He stressed the importance of responsible stewardship and encouraged them to use the vehicle to facilitate educational and extracurricular activities effectively.

In his address, Fajimi Ebenezer, on behalf of FOGSU, expressed profound appreciation to Governor Makinde for his unwavering support towards the advancement of education in Ogbomoso. He assured Hon. Oke of the union’s commitment to judiciously utilize the donated bus for the betterment of the student community.

Notably, the FOGSU President is presently a 300 level student at Best Legacy College of Education who’s enjoying the Oke-Legacy scholarship.

Dignitaries present during the visitation include the Provost BELCOED, Dr Victor Obajemu; Registrar, Ajagbe Rasheed. Others include; FOGSU VP, Olatunde Joseph and an Ex-officio, Adobe Oluwafiyekemi.
