PHOTOS: Makinde arrives Iseyin for Commissioning of renovated Central Mosque 

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, has arrived Iseyin for the commissioning of the town’s Central Mosque. 

The Governor, who was received by his deputy, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, was in company of members of Elders Council, Advisory Council and top government functionaries. 

The sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhamadu Sa’ad Abubakar will today lead islamic leaders and dignitaries from all walks of lives to commission the Iseyin Central Mosque.

The mosque was renovated by an Iseyin born Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Alhaji Ahmed Raji.

Apart from the central mosque, the philanthropists has also renovated two other mosques in Iseyin, built one beside his house and more.

The multi million naira project which started few months ago saw both the interior and outer part of the central mosque being transformed.

Raji a notable legal luminary of repute and a philanthropist also donated a brand new Toyota Hiace Bus for the League if Imam and Alfas in Iseyin local government and SUV for the Chief Imam of Iseyin, Abdul Akeem Olajori.

Speaking with MOUTHPIECE NGR on Thursday, an illustrious son of the soil, simply known as Sadiq Muhammed, said Alhaji Ahmed Raji is a blessing to the Iseyin community, Nigeria, and the entire world because he is using his gift and blessing from God to aid humanity and magnify God’s work.

“He is not the only wealthy man in Oke Ogun, but he has made significant contributions to the development of the entire Oke Ogun community, and we pray that Almighty Allah will bless his family and grant him just rewards,” he stated.

“His life is worthy of emulation; he is a leading light, an inspiration, and a role model.”
