PHOTOS: Irepo PDP chairmanship candidate, TT visits Oyo Deputy Governor
Ahead of the 2024 local government election, the chairmanship candidate of Irepo local government, Hon. Olayiwola Tunde Taoheed, popularly known as Hon. TT, on Thursday, paid a Thank-you visit to the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal at his Bashorun home in Ibadan.
The visit, which is also to appreciate Governor Seyi Makinde for his support, was to intimate the deputy Governor on preparation of the party in the forthcoming local government election.
Addressing newsmen after the visit, Hon. TT expressed his profound gratitude to all PDP leaders members for their unflinching support for the party candidates in Irepo local government.
While also urging the Kishi residents to keep supporting the Omituntun 2.0 administration, he noted that their support for the Governor’s administration would spur development across communities in Irepo local government just as he also solicited their support for his chairmanship election and for other PDP candidates in the 2024 local election.
He commended the Governor and His Deputy, for their exemplary leadership and the numerous developmental projects initiated across the state.
He said: “I appreciate Governor Makinde and Deputy Governor Bayo Lawal for their dedication and commitment to the betterment of our dear state. Their leadership has been marked by transparency, inclusivity, and a genuine desire to uplift the welfare of the people.
“As a concerned stakeholder and candidate for the chairmanship position in Irepo Local Government, I pledge my support and cooperation to ensure the success of their vision for the state,” Hon. TT stated.
