PHOTOS: Agboworin arrives Ivory Coast for AFCON Final
A Member of the House of Representatives for Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Hon. Adigun Abass Agboworin, has arrived in Abidjan, Ivory Coast to support Nigeria’s Super Eagles in their AFCON final clash with the host country.
MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that the lawmaker who is a member of Peoples Democratic Party arrived in Ivory Coast on Sunday evening.
Agboworin, who was pictured on Super Eagles jersey alongside other Sports enthusiasts, is in Abidjan to support the Super Eagles and cheer them to victory.
In a significant boost for the Super Eagles, the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, had also led presidential team to the finals of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Côte d’Ivoire.
Recall that the Vice President represented the President at the semi-finals when the Super Eagles defeated South Africa in a pulsating encounter.
The Nigerian national team is set to face host, Côte d’Ivoire, in a thrilling rematch at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan at exactly 9pm, on Sunday, February 11.
The match will rekindle the memories of Nigeria’s 1-0 victory in the group stage secured through William Troost-Ekong’s penalty.
