Bola Ige Int’l Market: Afia Construction and Building engages 3 experts for Complex repositioning

As part of the Oyo state government’s efforts to reposition the Bola Ige international market (Gbagi Ibadan), the newly engaged facility management company, Afia Construction and Building Engineering Consultancy Services Ltd, has engaged some capable individuals in repositioning the market complex.

The three experts were Mr Bakole Akeem, who is joining the board of directors as Director of finance; Mr. Adebanjo Olusegun Christopher, who will become the director of operations; and Mr. Yahya Hamed Adanla, who will take on the role of public relations manager.

This was contained in statement made available to newsmen by the CEO of Afia Construction and Building Engineering Consultancy Services Ltd), Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem Mogaji Adanla, on Monday.

According to the statement, their engagement take immediate effect.

While congratulating the experts, the C E O of Afia construction and building engineering consultancy services Ltd, Engr. Mogaji Adanla appealed to them to see their engagement as an opportunity to put their wealth of experience into use.

He expressed gratitude to Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, for the opportunity and assured him that Bola Ige International Market (Gbagi Ibadan) would take on a new appearance starting this Friday.

He also noted that the abandoned health centre and all of the converted toilets into stores would be returned to their original uses as those using it had been duly notified to vacate the toilets for renovation and reopening.

Adanla equally thanked the Hon. Commissioner for trade, commerce and investment, Hon. Demola Ojo and staffs of his ministry for driving the vission of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde in making life easier for the traders and people patronizing the market.

While appreciating the elders of the market for their strong commitment in ensuring that the legacy of Governor Bola ige is sustained, he noted that with their corporation with Oyo state government and Afia construction and building engineering consultancy services Ltd, the International market will wear a new look in shortest period.
