PHOTOS: Oyo gov’t presents staff of office to four Chiefs in Saki LG
The Oyo State Government on Thursday presented a Staff of Office to four Part ll Chiefs in Saki West Local Government at the LG Secretariat.
The Chiefs are BaleIya of Saki, Alh. Raimi Aiki Adesina Boorepo, The Apoefin of Saki, Oyelowo Joseph Oyetunde; Lasigbon of Saki, Chief James Okanlawon and Bale Oke Oro of Saki, Alhaji Jimoh Adeola Dabidakola.
Makinde, who was represented by the Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Segun Olayiwola, congratulated the new chiefs and admonished them to be fair to all and collaborate with security operatives to curb insecurity in Oke-ogun zone.
He also charged them to see their appointments as the will of God and to serve the interest of the people and government.
The event was attended by the Special Assistant to Oyo Deputy Governor on Legal Matters, Barrister Hassan Ajibade, LG Chairmen, traditional leaders, PDP chieftains as well as other Oyo top government functionaries.
