Notorious Bandit, Bello Turjii Is NOT An Officer – Police Reacts

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has dismissed speculations suggesting that the wanted terrorist kingpin, Turji Bello, has become a member of the Nigeria Police.

Adejobi refuted the insinuations in a brief statement posted on his account on the X platform on Wednesday. His response came after a netizen with the username @OnyiPathfinder alleged that the terrorist had joined the Police Force. The netizen, posting a picture of Turji Bello in what appeared to be a Police uniform, challenged Adejobi to clarify the status of the wanted terrorist.

In response, Adejobi stated, “Turji has never been recruited into the police. It’s a lie. This picture is not a new one.”

Turji Bello is a notorious bandit leader and terrorist operating in the northern part of Nigeria, declared wanted by security operatives.
