New Year: Rep. Agboworin Distributes Rice, Cash To Constituents, Urges Commitment To Collective Prosperity, Growth And Development

Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Chairman House Committee On Narcotics Drugs, Rep. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) continued to display outstanding leadership qualities and sincerity of purpose has he facilitated the distribution of rice palliative and cash in Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency. 

The rice palliative was in conjunction with FEDERAL MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT in collaboration with GROVEDALES LIMITED in which the programme was designed to distribute 10kg pack of rice palliative to the people of his constituency.  

The distribution of rice and cash palliative are pillars of support families, environment, community, societies, widows, muslim groups, christian, youth groups, party members, stakeholders, leaders because they deserve to be supported by individuals and government during festival period and to reduce cost for celebration, Rep. Abass said. 

Rep. Adigun urged the people of his constituency, Oyo State and Nigerians to use the new year to renew their commitment to collective prosperity, growth and development by contributing more to nation building and shunning all forms of negative tendencies.

Rep. Abass acknowledged Governor Seyi Makinde for using his massive investments in many sectors across Oyo State, not to contribute to the development of the pacesetter state economy alone but to also impact positively on the lives of people of Oyo State and Nigerians in general.

He urged Nigerians to continue to demonstrate love and exhibit compassion towards one another and extend hands of support to the less privileged and vulnerable members of the society.
