The Boodaa Sunday Adeyemo (BSA) Foundation has distributed free JAMB forms to top 300 students in Ogbomoso.

Addressing MOUTHPIECE NGR correspondent on Thursday in Ogbomoso, the Foundation President, Hon. Sunday Adeyemo, said the Jamb scholarship award was held at Lagbami Osekun Hall on 30th of November, 2023.

He pointed out that the purpose of the intervention was to give the students the sufficient opportunity to secure a promising future as leaders of tomorrow.

Adeyemo restated that the philanthropic gesture is to leave no stone unturned in educating the future leaders of Ogbomoso zone with the requisite qualifications to enable them to improve their academic excellence.

According to him, the BSA Foundation initiated the application process for its annual JAMB Scholarship, distributing over 1500 forms across various groups in Ogbomoso.

He said: “In November, a qualifying exam took place, resulting in the direct award of 2024 JAMB scholarships to the top 300 students.

“Notably, the President of BSA Foundation pledged to reimburse JAMB fees for the subsequent 200 students achieving scores above 200.

“Moving into December 2023, the foundation kicked off free JAMB preparatory tutorials catering to both scholarship candidates and other interested students.

“As of last week in January 2024, the foundation has successfully registered beneficiaries for its impactful JAMB scholarship program, marking another milestone in their commitment to education and community empowerment.”

The president, who noted that the beneficiaries cut across the five local governments in Ogbomoso zone, urged the recipients to pay back the gesture by keeping away from negative behaviours that could endanger the success of academic greatness.
