LAUTECH Alumni honors Hon Bisi Oluranti Oyewo-Michael (BOOM) with Award of Dignity

In recognition of outstanding public service, the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Alumni Association bestowed the Award of Dignity upon Hon Bisi Oluranti Oyewo-Michael (BOOM), the  Member representing Ogbomoso North at the Oyo State tenth House of Assembly.

The prestigious award was presented during the triennial congress held at the Alumni Building in Ogbomoso.

The ceremony saw alumni members and distinguished guests gather to celebrate excellence and which the highlight was to elect new executives and saw to the emergence of Engr. Lekan Badmus as its Global President.

The Award of Dignity was conferred upon Hon Bisi Oluranti Oyewo-Michael in recognition of her notable contributions to the public service since her assumption of office.

Hon BOOM, who assumed office on May 29th, has swiftly become a beacon of diligent representation, and her impactful contributions have not gone unnoticed. The presenter of the award highlighted her unwavering commitment to public service, citing specific instances where her efforts have made a positive difference in the Ogbomoso North and in Oyo State.

The LAUTECH Alumni Association, known for its commitment to recognizing and promoting excellence among its members, expressed pride in honoring a distinguished alumna who continues to exemplify the institution’s values.

In her acceptance speech, Hon Bisi Oluranti Oyewo-Michael expressed gratitude for the esteemed recognition. 

She emphasized the pivotal role that LAUTECH played in shaping her character and providing the foundation for her successful journey in public service. 

The congress attendees, comprising fellow alumni, awardees and well-wishers, applauded her dedication and pledged continued support for her endeavors.
