Makinde in Canada, harps on innovation as catalyst for development 

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that the Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, was among the invited thought leaders chosen to serve as catalysts for thought disruption within the world of innovation in Canada. 

The governor, who was represented at the just concluded Future of Innovation Conference organised by the University of New Brunswick Federicton, Canada, was invited to the conference as one of the thought leaders who would work as catalysts for thought disruption within the realm of innovation.

He was represented at the conference by Prof. Dahud Kehinde Shangodoyin @Prof. Sangodoyin 2, the Honourable Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, and Prof. Deji Omole, Chairman and Pro-Chancellor of LAUTECH.

The two participated in a Fireside Chat on “International Collaboration in Innovation,” and Prof. Dahud Shangodoyin gave a presentation on “The Future of Innovation in Oyo State, Nigeria” to a group of global thought leaders. 

Opportunities for partnerships were discussed by Prof. Shangodoyin, and these included investments in the ecosystem of Oyo State, programmes for cultural and educational exchange, trade and commerce, environmental sustainability, infrastructure development, and agribusiness.
