Ogbomoso North PDP Local & Ward Excos, Stakeholders throw weight behind Kabir Ayoade for 2nd term, accompany him to pick form

….say endorsement as a result of exceptional leadership

Notable leaders of Peoples Democratic Party in Ogbomoso North Local Government including both ward and local Excos on Monday accompanied the Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. Kabir Ayoade to Ibadan to obtain his nomination form for second term.

This was as the local and ward executives including other notable stakeholders throw their weight behind his re-election bid as the Chairman of the Local government, said his endorsement is as a result of his exceptional leadership attributes, his disposition to good governance which has brought about unprecedented growth and development to the local government.

They stated this in a letter addressed to Dr Saka Balogun dated 7th July 2023, in which a copy was made available to MOUTHPIECE NGR on Monday.

According to the letter, “It is an undeniable fact that today, Ogbomoso North Local Government stands tall in the committee of local government in oyo state. Considering the limited resources at his disposal, Hon. Ayoade has been able to judiciously utilize it well and accordingly.

“Consequently, we are hereby pass a vote of confidence in his leadership and and wholeheartedly endorse his re-election bid.”

Speaking with MOUTHPIECE NGR shortly after obtaining his nomination form, the chairman, Kabir Ayoade, who expressed his appreciation to the members of Peoples Democratic Party at both ward and local government level, specifically thanked those whose names and signatures are attached to the letter.

He said: “Over the last 2 and half years, we have enjoyed the support of our people. We promised an accessible government, one that prioritizes the needs and aspirations of our people. As an administration, we have continued to deliver on provision of infrastructures and welfare packages for our people. Within the limits of our resources, we have served our people in good conscience.

“In recognition of our services, our local party leaders and EXCOS, ward chairmen, youth leaders and women leaders and the great people of Ogbomosho North Local Government have all deemed it worthy that the foundation of good works which our administration had laid must not be wasted. Our people have gone ahead to repose a renewed confidence in us by trusting us to be their flag bearer in the coming elections and for this, we are grateful.

“As an honourable son of the soil, we have decided to accept the task whole-heartedly once again. And the journey began earlier today when we went with our entourage to obtain the form from the Party’s Secretariat at Ibadan.

“The journey to a better turn has indeed begun”.
