Irepo PDP chairmanship candidate, Hon. TT thanks Makinde, Lawal over appointment of education commissioner, Prof. Salihu

Hon. Olayiwola Tunde Taoheed, popularly known as Hon. TT, the chairmanship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Irepo Local Government, on Wednesday extended his warmest congratulations to the newly appointed Commissioner for Education in Oyo State, Prof. Abdul Waheed Salihu.

The congratulatory message comes as Prof. Salihu assumes the significant role of overseeing the state’s educational sector.

Hon. TT commended Governor Seyi Makinde for making a wise choice in selecting Prof. Salihu as the Education Commissioner.

The chairmanship candidate highlighted Prof. Salihu’s impeccable credentials, wealth of experience, and passion for educational development, all of which make him a valuable asset to the state’s education sector.

“Prof. Salihu’s appointment as Commissioner for Education is a testament to Governor Makinde’s dedication to bringing in competent and visionary individuals to drive positive changes in various sectors of the state.

“I heartily congratulate Prof. Salihu and have full confidence that under his leadership, our educational system will witness significant improvements,” Hon. TT remarked.

Furthermore, in the spirit of collaboration and unity, Hon. TT expressed his gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde and the Deputy Governor, Bayo Lawal, for their tireless efforts in transforming Oyo State and uplifting the lives of its citizens.

He commended the duo for their exemplary leadership and the numerous developmental projects initiated across the state.
