Oyo deputy gov’s wife decorates newly-promoted Police security aides

The wife of Oyo deputy governor, Chief (Mrs) Ajibola Lawal has decorated two security police aides attached to her office and resident at Bashorun in Ibadan.

The officers decorated on Wednesday include Mrs Folorunso Oluwatoyin, who is the orderly to the wife of the deputy governor and Mr Adalumo Oluwafemi attached to the resident.

They were decorated following their promotion from sergeant to inspector of police.

The deputy governor’s wife, Mrs. Lawal, congratulated the recipients and emphasized that success in the Police Force would depend on how well each recipient handled the huge responsibilities that came with promotion.

Later, Mrs. Lawal reminded them of their commitment to working with the public and the need to respect their fundamental human rights, emphasizing that the main goal of policing is to serve humanity.

She equally advised them to use their extensive knowledge in their new postings.
