A prominent member of Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo state and a Golfer, Otunba Yomi Ojo has felicitated a close ally of Governor Seyi Makinde Otunba Seye Famojuro over his chieftaincy title conferment and installation as the Balogun Bobajiroro of Orile-Igbonland.
The chieftaincy title of Otunba Bobaselu of the Ile Igbon Kingdom was also bestowed to Chief Babatunde Tijani, also known as Double T by friends and political allies.
Oba Francis Olushola Ala, Akinbola I, the paramount ruler of Olugbon of Ile-Igbon land will officially make the conferment on the governor’s allies today in Ogbomoso, a ceremony which would be attended by the Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde as well as his deputy, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal.
Yomi Ojo, who is a strong member of GSM Advocates, praised the pair as big-hearted Nigerians who had improved the lives of many less fortunate members of society and said the chieftaincy title was well-deserved.
He stated that Governor Makinde’s confidence and trust in Otunba Famojuro and Double T are amply demonstrated by the new chieftaincy titles bestowed upon them.
The statement reads, “It is a day to celebrate your strength, courage, and contributions which confirms you as one of the most ebullient personalities in the society who deserves the title in views of your sterling leadership and the actively involved roles you have played in societal development.”
