VIDEO: Ex-Reps candidate, Hon. Taiwo Raheem takes campaign to Ibadan markets for Makinde’s re-election
A former House of Representatives candidate in 2019 under the platform of Providence Peoples Congress (PCC), Hon. Taiwo Raheem on Wednesday received warm hospitality from Oyo traders, as he embarked on campaign tour of major markets populated by both Yoruba and Hausa within the Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
Raheem took a tour of the markets ahead of the March 18 gubernatorial election, following the open endorsement and show of support for the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde by different political parties.
It was a warm reception during the campaign by traders as they vowed to cast their votes for Governor Seyi Makinde based on his performances.
One of the traders who was so excited while interacting with the campaign team led by Raheem said, she will be voting for the governor because of the way he has been able to treat pensioners.
According to her, Governor Seyi Makinde raised the living dead pensioners back to life which she’s one of them.
Another marketer also prayed fervently that the governor would be re-elected in the forthcoming election as well as other PDP candidates to continue the developmental stride of the state.
MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that part of the places also visited include churches, mosques, institutions among others.
Raheem encouraged the electorates to come out en mass on March 18 to vote Governor Seyi Makinde, saying that one good term deserves another.
