BREAKING: Oyo lawmaker dumps Mulikat, joins PDP for Makinde’s re-election bid 

The Oyo chapter of Peoples Democratic Party has received another boost ahead of Saturday Guber poll in the state with the official defection of the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency, Hon. Ajao Jacob Adejumo. 

Adejumo, who had contested for a re-election under the Social Democratic Party (SDP), lost out to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last election, Olamiju Alao Akala in the just concluded National election. 

MOUTHPIECE NGR, gathered that the lawmaker held an interactive meeting with some of his supporters yesterday, 5th of March, at his residence, where the next line of action was decided.

It was learnt that at the end of the meeting a conclusion to work for PDP and Governor Seyi Makinde’s relection was reached, citing the track records of the Incumbent Governor, in terms of Workers welfarism, Infrastructures and Security.

Mr Olusola Paul, the Media Director, to the lawmaker who confirmed the report to MOUTHPIECE NGR, said that Hon.Ajao Jacob Adejumo, and all his followers have agreed to work for the success of Governor Seyi MAKINDE, and PDP, in the forthcoming election.

He added that they have collapsed their structure in SDP and no longer have any association with Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola who is said to be in alliance with the candidate of All Progressives Congress, Senator Teslim Folarin.
