Some elements in Aso Rock working against Tinubu, says El-Rufai

Kaduna Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has alleged some forces within Aso Rock are working for the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) to lose the general elections.
He said they were hanging up against the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The elements, according to him, were those whose candidates lost the APC presidential primary but are still bitter.

Speaking on Sunrise on Channels TV on Wednesday, he said: ‘’I believe there are elements in the villa that want us to lose the election because they didn’t get their way. They had their candidate but their candidate didn’t win the primary election. I think they are still trying to get us to lose the election and they are hiding behind the president’s desire to do what he thinks is the right thing.”
