The deputy governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdul-raheem Adebayo Lawal has received commendation from Muslim congregation of NYSC camp in Iseyin for observing juma’at service with corps members.
The remarks was made on Friday by one of the MSSN Executives shortly after the prayer at the central mosque of the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Iseyin.
Lawal had visited the camp to formally declare the 2023 Batch ‘A’ (Stream I) Orientation course open on behalf of Governor Seyi Makinde.
He said: “This is the first time any member of Oyo state government would be praying with them in the camp either they are Christians or Muslims.
“We are very much excited with his presence and we appreciate him for worshipping with us at the camp.
“We pray Almighty Allah to grant his heart desires and continue to make him a pride of Islam”, he said.
