Mammoth Crowd as Shina Peller Talent Act kicks off in Saki 

The maiden edition of a talent act tagged “IDANILARAYA” being sponsored by a member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Shina Peller, has kicked off on Saturday January 7, 2023, in Saki, Oyo State.

The talent act, which features four categories namely singing, dance, spoken words and comedy, have participants cut across all the local government areas that make up Oke-Ogun.

While declaring the event open, Honourable Peller, who is contesting for Oyo North Senatorial District seat on the platform of Accord in the forthcoming elections, explained that the programme was initiated to showcase, promote and celebrate participants’ talents.

He said, “During the second edition of the Peller Unity Cup (PUC), I realised that there are so many talents, particularly from the Oke Ogun region, who do not have a platform to exhibit their unique God’s given gifts. Therefore, I initiated this programme to serve as a platform for these young people to showcase their talents.

The prospective senator to represent Oyo North added that winners of the talent act will be rewarded with cash prizes ranging from three hundred and fifty thousand naira, five hundred thousand naira, seven hundred and fifty thousand naira, one million naira and so on.

Also, the Oke Ogun-born federal lawmaker stated that winners will be promoted and given necessary supports needed to make them superstars in their career. “By God’s grace, we shall give them utmost support needed to make their talents count resourcefully,” he said.

MOUTHPIECE NGR gathered that Shina Peller also came with his right hand man in Saki, who is a business guru and politician and a native of Saki, Alhaji Ayiki Dendenbula, as well as his brothers too.
