2023: Former PDP Reps aspirants unite, set for victory in Ogbomoso

The three former House of Representatives aspirants for Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency, Hon. John Oke-Legacy, Hon. Akinwole Akinwale, also known as Wolekanle, and Hon. Olufemi Onireti, have teamed up to work for the party’s victory ahead of the general election in 2023.

Recall that the three aspirants fought it out for the Reps’ ticket during the party’s primary election.

They are well-known figures in the Ogbomoso zone and enjoy huge followers across the three local governments in the Federal Constituency.

On Thursday night at Bodija in Ibadan, the state capital, they met behind closed door to plan how to guarantee the party’s success in the upcoming election.

MOUTHPIECE NGR understands that this is the first time the former aspirants will come together formally and amicably.

Even though Onireti cliched the Reps ticket, Wolekanle later got the nod for Oyo North senatorial ticket, and John Oke-LEGACY, who is currently a board member of the Oyo Local Government Service Commission, was appointed as the Oyo North Youth Coordinator for Governor Seyi Makinde’s reelection campaign.

Speaking with our correspondent shortly after their meeting, they said: “We are a one family.

“We are all PDP members and we will all work together as a formidable team.

“Victory assured”, they submitted.
