The testimonies, satisfaction and commendation from Governor Seyi Makinde’s led administration and the pursuit for continuity has continued to gather more momentum as thousands of members of APC, NRM and other parties defected to PDP Today, 20th of November, 2022 at Afijio Local Government.
Defected members led by Hon. Chief Owolabi were welcomed by Chief Sunday Ogunlade into the AFIJIO PDP, who commended them for finally agreeing to join the moving train and be a part of the transformation team.
Chief Sunday Ogunlade said His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde has done well for AFIJIO people and the best way they can show gratitude and continuity is to work harder and as a team to make sure he is re-elected in 2023.
The Oyo State PDP Chairman Hon. Debo Ogungbenro, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu,, Afijio Local Government Chairman Hon. Sunday Ojo, Afijio PDP Chairman, OYSROMA Chairman Hon. Busoye Odunlade and other AFIJIO leaders were also present to receive the newly defected members.
Recall that MOUTHPIECE NGR on Saturday reported that a strong stakeholder of All Progressives Congress in Irepo Local government, J.S Amodu and others also officially defected to PDP.
They were received by the deputy governor of Oyo state, Barrister Abdul-raheem Adebayo Lawal at the frontage of Iba of Kishi Palace.
