Southwest Familiarization tour: Atiku Support Organization Women Wings take campaign to Lagos

The event which was organized to meet and get familiar with the women wing of the Atiku Support Organization had another colourful and inspiring version as the Lagos local government women leaders and Deputies triumphantly welcomed the Zonal Women Leader, Yeye Adenike Remi-Olarinde who appreciated the women for standing firmly despite the pathetic situation of the state of the Nation to support and give their commitments towards achieving success for the party especially the presidential election as well as charging the state on getting the Lagos state back from the  opposition party.

A statement made available to newsmen on Sunday by Hajia Mary Abibat Peter (Maria mimo), indicated that Yeye Adenike Remi-Olarinde was warmly welcomed by Barrister Phil Olisa, the state legal advisor, standing in for Pastor Kolawole Peter, the Lagos State Coordinator and Mrs Catherine Omowumi Isoa, the state women leader, send her warm regards to the Lagos State ASO leaders for standing firmly for Atiku and PDP at large and special appreciation to Hon. Azeez Akinsanya, ASO Southwest Zonal Coordinator, for his support which contributed to the success of the program, and also to a wonderful leader, the National Women Leader ASO, Dr( Mrs) Lynn Bassey for her encouragement and support. 

In her speech, Yeye Adenike Remi-Olarinde urged the Local government women leaders and the deputies to commence sensitization drive through house to house campaign on why Lagosians must support and vote Alhaji Atiku Abubarka,the most competent and unifier who is capable and intelligent enough to drive the country to become a better Nation.

In responding to some Lagos State ASO LG women leaders questions, Yeye Adenike Remi-Olarinde assured the women of better leadership quality of His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubarka if elected and task the women to be steadfast and work unitedly as it is  a must for every local government to deliver for the party at the presidential election.

Meanwhile, the representative of Lagos State Aso Coordinator Barrister Phil Olisa commended the southwest ASO women especially the Zonal women leader Yeye Adenike Remi-Olarinde for the well timing and much needed  familiarization & sensitization tour,  and pleaded with the local government women leaders to take the message across the wards and units. 

Also, in his response to one of the questions asked,he urged the LG  women leaders not to be discouraged with the past political activities and assured the women of better opportunities on the emergence of His Excellency Atiku Abubarka as the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He also appealed to the women leaders to extend their hands of fellowship to the Lagos State PDP  Governorship Candidate as we move towards sensitising the masses on the great future awaiting Lagosian and Nigerians as a whole if voted for PDP at both the states and national elections.

Yeye Adenike in her Goodwill message to the Lagos State Local Government women leaders and deputies  assured the women of transparency and quality leadership as we progress and task every women leaders of “a must win agenda” for every local government as we prepare for the presidential election.

In her vote of thanks, Mrs Catherine Omowumi Isoa the  Lagos State ASO  Woman Leader, expressed her gratitude to God for the success of the program and also to Southwest ASO  Zonal Women Leader Yeye Adenike Remi-Olarinde for the Cash gift, Sourviner, Goodwill messages and progressive movement  embarked on with her Entourage, and also for the inspiration and reawakening the women towards another chapter of the political electioneering season,  she prays for victories and more safe trips as the team progress.

In the entourage include Oyo State ASO Women Leader, Olori Kemi Alabi, Osun State ASO Women Leader Mrs. Yemisi Adebiyi, Ondo State ASO Women Leader Mrs. Remi Daramola, Ogun State ASO Women Leader Hajia Mary Abibat Peter, Oyo State ASO Deputy Women Leader Hon. Suliyat Akufo.
