Four teenagers drown at Lagos beach

Four teenagers on Tuesday drowned at Lagos beach.

The spokesperson of the Lagos State Police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed the incident via a post, on his verified Twitter page.

The spokesman has said that the teenagers drowned at the Lagos beach on Tuesday after receiving their examination results.

He has advised parents and guardians to guard their wards to avoid such incidents.

His tweet read: “I’ve talked about drowning in relation to water travel and swimming pools. Still, parents/guardians, have a heart-to-heart talk with your teenagers to avoid losing them.

“Four teenagers drowned at a Lagos beach after collecting their exam results in school. Take heed!”
