Court sentences Uduak Akpan, alleged killer of Iniubong Umoren to death by hanging
A high court in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, has sentenced Uduak Frank Akpan, who happens to be the first accused in the murder of Iniubong Umoren, to die by hanging.
After the over two hours judgment by the judge, Bassey Nkanang, the convict was declared guilty of rape and murder and therefore sentenced to be hung on the neck till he dies.
