Troops reportedly kill 10 Boko Haram terrorists, save kidnapped victims in Borno

Ten Boko Haram terrorists have been reportedly killed by troops under Operation Hadin Kai in an ambush between Magumeri and Gubio road in Borno State.

It was learnt that the terrorists occupied a check point and kidnapped scores of commuters around Titiya village on Tuesday.

Sources have revealed to Zagazola Makama, a counter insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad that the troops have acted based on distressed calls.

He said the troops stood against and defeated the terrorists who eventually absconded the scene.

He disclosed that the troops have chased the terrorists and killed ten, while some of them absconded with bullet wounds.

The sources revealed that all the passengers were saved unhurt, while two stolen vehicles were rediscovered and given to their rightful owners.
