Robbers push lady from car, suspect dies after police chase in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has told residents to be conscious of their safety.

The spokesperson of the police in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has given the piece of advice via a Twitter post about an incident of robbery.

The image maker of the police revealed that a lady called Loveth, has boarded a car, reg MUS 423 AF, at Bolade in Oshodi.

The person was dispossessed of her properties by four men inside and dragged out of the car.

Hundeyin said after a patrol team chased him, the men abandoned their vehicle and ran away. Two were apprehended and the car was rediscovered.

One of them has complained of a shortage of breath which resulted from the chase and was hospitalized.

The spokesman added that he was treated and transferred elsewhere for lack of bed space.

“He died on the way. The other suspect, Akuku Tony is assisting the Police in the ongoing investigation”, he added.
