Police nab notorious armed robbery suspect on wanted list

Men of the Anti-kidnapping unit, Bayelsa State Command, has said it has apprehended a notorious armed robbery suspect.

The notorious armed robbery suspect has been on the wanted list of the police command.

He has been declared wanted for various armed robbery cases in Yenagoa and environs.

The police command has given the suspect’s name as Keme Azorobor.

The suspect is a 27 years old native of Bomadi Local Government Area, Delta State.

The suspect who lives in Yenagoa, the capital of the state, was apprehended during a clearance operation at Otiotio Road, Yenagoa on 24th July 2022, at about 11.45pm.

The police has recovered a locally made pistol loaded with one live cartridge from the robbery suspect.

The spokesperson of the police in the state, SP Asinim Butswat, has via a statement said the suspect has confessed his participation in various armed robbery cases.

The statement also revealed that investigations are ongoing to apprehend his gang members and bring them to justice.
