Osun 2022: NSCDC reacts to Osun gubernatorial election

Acting Commander-General (ACG), Fasiu Adeyinka, the Zonal Coordinator, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for Osun, Ondo and Ekiti, has reacted to the ongoing Osun gubernatorial election.

He revealed that the election process has been peaceful in Osun state .

Adeyinka made this commendation during his visit to St. Gabriel Primary School Yemoo, Moore, Ward 3 and 4, Polling Units 003 and 004, on Saturday, in Ile-Ife.

He revealed that those voting were calm, cool and easy going in all units visited.

According to him, the voters have been conducting themselves well with no fear of anything whatsoever.

The ACG thanked the electorate for complying with their advice and sensitisation campaign.

“In fact, since we have been conducting elections, this 2022 election is a good example of peaceful conduct by the electorate.

“This will repeat itself in the general election, ” he stated.

Adeyinka has urged the electorate to maintain the peace so that election can be free, fair and credible.
