Nigerian governor holds private meeting with Obasanjo

Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal on Sunday paid a visit to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The meeting took place at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) Penthouse residence of the former leader.

The spokesperson, Kehinde Akinyemi has via a statement, said the former speaker of the House of Representatives arrived at about 1:30 pm with some of his key aides.

Tambuwal and his host finished the parley at about 2:40 pm, where issues of national importance were discussed.

The former president had his lunch with his guest who later had his prayer at the mosque inside OOPL before leaving the premises.
