Manchester United says ‘no chance’ as Ronaldo requests to leave Old Trafford

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly appealed to Manchester United to let him leave, should they get a satisfactory replacement this summer.

MOUTHPIECE NGR observes that the international football star is making this request one season after sensationally re-joining the club.

MOUTHPIECE NGR recalls that Ronaldo had moved from Serie A’s Juventus to Old Trafford last summer.

The international Portuguese footballer scores 24 goals in all competitions last season.

18 goals in the Premier League – which made him the third top scorer in the division.

MOUTHPIECE NGR gathered that the international Portuguese football icon had decided to leave the club, because of his desire to participate in the Champions League to crown the rest of his career.

MOUTHPIECE NGR observes that United has failed to qualify for the Champions League but instead will take part in the Europa League next season.

Since Ronaldo’s exit from Sporting Lisbon for English football in the summer of 2003, he’s participated in 19 consecutive Champions League seasons.

He has made 183 appearances in the competition, with 140 goals and 42 assists in that time.

He has never participated in the Europa League, which he’ll be playing if United does not agree to free him.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and Premier League rivals Chelsea have already shown interest in getting him.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have already reacted angrily to Ronaldo’s appeal for freedom from the Old Trafford this summer, telling him ‘no chance’.

“Cristiano is not for sale,” a source told Mirror Football. “We want – and fully expect – him to be with us next season.”
