Governors Akeredolu, Fayemi, Sanwo-Olu visit Gov Wike

Three Governors under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), are currently in a private meeting with the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

MOUTHPIECE NGR observes that there has been uncertainty in the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Governor of Rivers State, on Friday welcomed the Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Ekiti State and the Chairman Nigeria Governors Forum, Kayode Fayemi and the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu to Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

With Wike was the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose to receive the governors from the south west.

MOUTHPIECE NGR observes that the private meeting may be linked to the 2023 presidential election.

MOUTHPIECE NGR recalls that Wike has not been comfortable with the choice of (Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State) as the running mate of the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
