Days to election, unknown gunmen attack Labour Party guber candidate, Lasun Yusuff in Osun

The residence of Lasun Yusuff, the gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party in the forthcoming Osun gubernatorial election, was on Monday, attacked by some unknown gunmen.

The unknown gunmen as MOUTHPIECE NGR learnt, invaded the Ilobu country home of Yusuff around 2am and shot sporadically at the building situated at Oke-Ima area of the town.

Sources revealed that security agents who watch over the compound were able to repel the invasion, as no one has sustained injury.

The former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives was on Sunday night at the Osun Gubernatorial debate organised by Channels Television in Osogbo, Osun state capital.
