Buhari, Tinubu, Masari meet in Daura behind closed door

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari behind closed-doors.

In the meeting was the Governor of Katsina State, Bello Masari in Daura, the president’s home town in Katsina State.

MOUTHPIECE NGR observes that Masari had earlier welcomed the former Governor of Lagos State, at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport enroute Daura.

This came amid speculations that Senator Tinubu has chosen the former Governor of Borno State, Senator Kashim Shettima as his vice presidential candidate.

MOUTHPIECE NGR recalls that Tinubu had forwarded the name of Kabiru Masari to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as a place holder in order to meet up with the deadline set by the electoral umpire.

Masari came from Katsina State.
