BREAKING: Finally, Lagos PDP guber candidate, Jandor unveils running mate

Mouthpiece NGR reports that Dr. Olajide Adediran better known as Jandor, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governorship position in Lagos, has named a well-known actress Funke Akindele as his running mate.

This development comes days after collapse of Funke Akindele”s marriage to JJC Skillz crash.
It was learnt that Jandor announced the choice of the popular ‘Omo Ghetto’ star in a sponsored advert on Tuesday,
According to him, Funke is from Ikorodu and Lagos East Senatorial District like the incumbent Deputy Governor and has the overwhelming popularity to garner votes

The nomination was also verified by Akindele, who pledged to work tirelessly for the party and for Lagos to experience a breath of fresh air.
It was gathered in the advert that she has dropped “Bello” from her surname.

It was gathered that Funke won the position of running mate by defeating former governorship candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, former senatorial candidate for Lagos East Yeye Shobajo, another candidate for governor named David Kolawole Vaughan, also known as Dakova, and engineer Teslim Balogun.
