Bandits kidnap driver, conductor in Abuja
Some terrorists reportedly kidnapped Atazamu Azaki and Ayuba John, a driver and conductor from a farm in Chida community, Kwali Area Council of Abuja on Thursday.
A source in the community has revealed to newsmen that the incident happened around 6pm on Thursday.
The source has explained that the driver and the conductor proceeded to the farm to carry charcoal when they were kidnapped by the terrorists.
The source said the terrorists have stormed the farm with powerful weapons and kidnapped the victims.
He said that the conductor was later set free by the terrorists to go home to inform the driver’s family members about his location and gather money for ransom.
MOUTHPIECE NGR recalls that last Saturday, Mr Sunday Odoma Ojarume and his wife, Mrs Janet Odoma Ojarume were kidnapped from Sheda village in Kwali Area Council but the wife was later set free to go and gather money for her husband’s ransom.
The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, did not respond to calls to confirm the incident.
