ASUU: Workers in Osun join NLC protest

Workers in Osun State on Tuesday have joined their colleagues across the federation to stage a solidarity protest to end the lingering Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike.

MOUTHPIECE NGR recalls that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) had ordered workers across the federation to embark on a two-day nationwide protest.

This was in respect of the ongoing industrial strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Workers in Osun State on Tuesday joined the protest to express their grievance.

Various labour unions converged at Ogo Oluwa filing state in Osogbo on Tuesday.

Some of the unions and associations were seen participating in the protest include members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Trade Union Congress (TUC), NULGE and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

Others are NUPENG, JUSUN, SSANU and NASU.
