AITEO Cup: Oyo Housing FC shock Jigawa Golden Stars with 4-2 win 

Oyo Housing Corporation left it late to secure a 4-2 win over Nigeria National league side, Jigawa Golden Stars at Minna Township Satdium.

The Housing FC, which defeated Crown FC few weeks ago, to book a place at the ongoing AITEO Cup, on Saturday edged out Golden Stars in the knock out stage

MOUTHPIECE NGR correspondent reported that the Housing Football team, in an energy sapping encounter, showed some delightful passing game, possession football, competence in launching fast counter-attacks and created many chances through out the game. 

The club has progressed to next match which will be played on Wednesday, 3rd August, 2022.

Elated by the victory, the Director of Admin & Supply, Oyo Housing Corporation, Mr Gbenga Kayode, dedicated the victory to Governor Seyi Makinde and his Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal who supported the team during his reign as the Executive Chairman of the Corporation. 

Oyo Housing Football Club is one of the representatives of Oyo State Football clubs participating in this year’s 2022 AITEO Cup otherwise known as Federation Cup.
