Again, police rearrest Kuje prison escapee in Kaduna
A suspected Kuje Prison escapee has been rearrested by the Kaduna police command in Kaduna.
The spokesperson of the police command, DSP Mohammed Jalige has revealed that the suspect identified simply as Shuaibu was nabbed by the policemen in Kaduna while traveling to Kano, based on active intelligence.
“The suspect on preliminary investigation revealed that he was part of the inmates who escaped during the recent attack on the Kuje medium security correctional centre.
He directed that necessary measures should be employed before handing the suspect over to the Nigerian Correctional Service.
He implored police officers to continue to effectively address all forms of crimes and criminality in affected areas of the state.
