Your victory is well deserved – Lanlehin congratulates Tinubu

Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (Solan) has described the emergence of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the party’s 2023 presidential standardbearer, as a well deserved victory.

Lanlehin, in a personally signed statement in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital noted that Asiwaju Tinubu’s years of progressive politics, marked by deftness and great organisational acumen, prepared him for a moment like this, believing that as a foremost statesman, the former Lagos State governor has all it takes not only to deliver victory for the APC, but also place Nigeria on the pedestal of peace, progress and prosperity.

“Having known Asiwaju for more than three decades, I can boldly attest to his character, courage and commitment to worthy causes, demonstrated most recently in his landslide victory at our party’s presidential primaries,” Lanlehin said.

Lanlehin, who once represented Oyo South Senatorial District between 2011 and 2015, opined that with the style and personality of Asiwaju Tinubu, the progressive family, and indeed all Nigerians, can be rest assured of a pro-people, development-driven government once he gets to power.

“Being a Governor of example, and a politician of class, I am excited that the coming campaign will be issue-based, colourful and captivating, as Asiwaju, having changed the face of Lagos State, is poised to change that of Nigeria”, Lanlehin submitted.

Senator Lanlehin consequently urged Asiwaju Tinubu, in the demonstration of his advertised large-heartedness, to embrace all who contested against him, as well as unite the party across the country, so that the APC can approach the next polls on a united front, come out victorious, and that Nigerians can be the better off in a country that truly cares for them.
