Tinubu jets out of Nigeria, for France

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has moved out of Nigeria.

The APC national leader left for France after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Monday morning.

His spokesman, Tunde Rahman, has made this announcement.

The image maker of the former Governor of Lagos State, did not disclose when his principal would be returning to the country.

He said the APC presidential flag bearer is expected back in the country very soon.

“He is off to Paris, France to hold some important meetings,” Rahman said in a statement.

MOUTHPIECE NGR had reported that Tinubu has emerged the flagbearer of his party, gathering 1,271 votes to beat 13 other presidential aspirants, on Wednesday, at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Tinubu had beaten presidential aspirants like Rotimi Amaechi, Osinbajo and Dave Umahi, who were leading aspirants ahead of the polls.
