They’re shooting our people in captivity – Families of kidnapped Abuja-Kaduna train passengers cry for help

The relations and families of the kidnapped passengers of the Abuja/Kaduna train have cried out on the reported shooting of victims in captivity.

The families made this revelation while having a meeting with some House of Representatives members, on Wednesday.

MOUTHPIECE NGR recalls that Bamidele Salam and Manu Mansur had moved a motion on the kidnap and the condition of the victims.

The two lawmakers; Salam and Mansur had the meeting with the victims.

Meltida Kabir, who’s the wife of one of the kidnapped victims, said the families received the information that one of the victims was shot, however, they could not ascertain the identity of the specific victim shot.

She on behalf of the families charged the lawmakers to mount pressure on the FG to effect the freedom of the victims.

“The news we got this morning is that one person was shot. We don’t know who is next. My husband is there. We don’t know if it would be any other person. Nigerians should help. My husband is in captivity,” he said.

Salam while reacting, said the Green Chamber is working hand in hand with the negotiators.
