PDP will unseat APC in 2023, says Atiku’s running mate, Okowa

Governor of Delta State, and the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ifeanyi Okowa, has expressed confidence that his party, PDP will regain power in 2023.

The Delta leader said the All Progressives Congress (APC) will be unseated.

Okowa made this revelation while speaking to newsmen shortly after his choice as the party’s vice presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election.

MOUTHPIECE NGR had reported that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has chosen the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.

He made this disclosure at his party’s headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.

The governor has given an assurance that the PDP was ready to rescue the country and rebuild it.

“I am truly very excited that I have been asked to join that ticket to be able to work as the vice-presidential candidate”, Okowa said.

He appreciated Atiku and leaders of his party for considering him worthy for the position.

“Mr President in waiting, I must truly thank you for finding me worthy to be on this ticket. I do know that it was a very tough decision.”

“By the special grace of God, we will work hard to ensure victory. There is no doubt that there is a great work ahead of each and every one of us.”

“In the next few weeks, you will be hearing a lot from our campaign organisation”, he added.
