Atiku reacts to Fayose’s call for southern presidency in 2023

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the comment of the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, that the next presidency must go to the southern part of Nigeria.

MOUTHPIECE NGR had earlier reported that the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, Wednesday revealed that the southern part of the country “must” produce the next president of Nigeria.

Paul Ibe, a media aide to Atiku, while reacting to the issue, said the presidential candidate would continue to persuade aggrieved individuals ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

He told newsmen, “It is normal for our people to be aggrieved but the PDP has a way of resolving issues like this and that will be done and we all shall be happy.

“Because the bigger challenge is winning the election, kicking out the APC and stopping them from the many years of impoverishing our people.”
