APC Presidential Primary: Jigawa delegate slumps, dies

One Jigawa state delegate, Isah Baba-Buji, has slumped and died at the presidential primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He lost his life while taking his breakfast on Tuesday in Abuja, the country capital.

The spokesperson of the party in Jigawa, Bashir Kundu, has confirmed the incident to newsmen in Jigawa.

He said the delegate lost his life while taking his breakfast and getting set to proceed to the venue of the party convention.

Mr Kundu said the deceased’s body was being prepared to be taken back to Jigawa State for burial rites.

Before his death, the deceased was the party’s vice chairman for Jigawa Southwest.
