UNILORIN students plan protest to end ASUU strike

The Students Union President, UNILORIN, Waliu Taofeek Opeyemi has noted that he would be organising a massive protest to forestall ASUU strike.

He made this statement on his Twitter handle (@akaOmoluabi) on Thursday, 5th of May, adding that all participants must have their ID cards as prerequisite to participate.

“As plans to organize a protest to #EndASUUStrike continues from the end of the Student Union, University of Ilorin, remember that your ID card must be on your neck.

“It is a prerequisite for your participation in this noble cause !

“Stay tuned for the latest update this evening.

Even though no specific date was mentioned, he promised that it would hold next week and would be a peaceful protest.

“No date has been fixed for our protest but I can assure you that it is any of the days, next week.

“So, get prepared. Travel down to Ilorin. Mobilize your friends. It is about to go down…”- He said
