Osun 2022: Tension as gunmen kill APC Chairman 

Mouthpiece NGR reports that unknown gunmen have killed the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Atakumosa East Central local government of Osun State, Chief Gbenga Ogbara.

According to reports, Ogbara was shot dead inside his sitting room in Igangan, his hometown, around 12am today.

While confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Osun Command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola, said his body has been deposited at Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa.

Opalola said: “The APC Chairman was killed around 12am by some gunmen. Policemen have since been deployed to the area. Investigation is ongoing on the matter. The criminals will not escape justice.”

Also contacted, the director, Media and Strategy, Barr. Kunle Oyatomi said he heard about it but yet to confirm.
